Audio: Share the song that will get you dancing...every time!
Submitted by foxsydee.
I decided to pick the most recent song that gets me dancing: Home Made Kazoku's Shonen Heart. It takes a bit of self control to stop myself from getting up everytime it comes up on my player. So I settle for swaying a bit and humming along. I'll dance when I get home ehehe.
What are your top 10 most-played songs currently?
At the risk of being ridiculed by my brothers who are anti-emo/pop, my current top ten songs are:
1. Stolen - Dashboard Confessional
2. Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional
3. Move Along - The All-American Rejects
4. All Time Low - Coffee Shop Soundtrack
5. Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland - Say It Right
6. Never Let Me Go - Top Junk (this is Tuesday Vargas' band. It's not bad actually)
7. If Everyone Cared - Nickelback
8. So Sick - Fallout Boy (Ne Yo cover)
9. Ain't No Sunshine - Hanson (Bill Withers cover)
10. Kjwan - One Look
Wait, do I have to upload the songs? :p If anyone cares to hear any of them, let me know. :)
If you had a CD or album coming out, who would you thank in the liner notes?
This reminds me of the time I did my thesis, I had to do a "thank you" page ehehe.
Of course: My parents, my siblings (because chances are, I'm going to have a band and they're my bandmates), my best friends Den, Erin, Carmenez. My rant & rave groupies: Toni & Maya...
The Lord for my talent. :D Me for the album jacket design ehehe.
My financiers, of course. My crush (the single guy in one of my last posts) for being the inspiration for the lyrics of unrequited love songs ehehe.
Bands like Jars of Clay, L'arc En Ciel, Asian Kung Fu Generation, Eraserheads, Rivermaya... for being inspirations.
And bands like 6Cyclemind, Cueshe, Typecast etc... for being examples of what not to be like.
*bow*
Off the top of mt head that's what I'll put. May change when I actually have an album out ehehe.
When Maya offered to let me listen to Korn's MTV Unplugged performance, I was hesistant. Then again, acoustic Korn? She was enthusiastic about it, and as Amy Lee of Evanesence was a guest artist, I figured it wouldn't be so bad, right?
Right indeed! I never thought I'd listen to eleven songs by Korn in one sitting, but I did. The acoustic set made me appreciate their music, unlike the studio cuts where it's all so loud, I can't take it. I like rock, but heavy metal I really don't (I don't think I need to say that again, right?).
What's cool about this album is that, well, not only did I get to listen to their songs and appreciate them, the band tried to play their songs in a way that though it isn't as loud as the originals, you know it's still heavy metal. I also like how they infused other instruments to make it sound different, in a good way. You know how most acoustic versions of rock songs go, with just a guitar and some percussions. Here, they made full use of brass, wind, percussion and other instruments.
And you have got to listen to their performance with The Cure!
The album is pretty much a good listen. A bit laid back but still heavy metal. Even for a non fan like me, I enjoyed it.
I really have no idea where I got this. I haven't really played Parappa the Rapper, so I didn't know that there was a song like this in the game.
It's a pretty fun song, and listening to it (of course, I still don't know what the lyrics mean), I can't help but think, "70s 'dre!" or Saturday Night Fever or something. It must be the beat. Somehow, listening to it, I can't help but want to get up and dance. And I don't mean a nicely choreographed dance, but one where I just jump around not caring a hoot how I'm moving ahaha!
Have fun listening!
P.S. Off topic: BoA is now a model for Nike Women? I saw her face in one of the ads in their store at Gateway.
Ampotah tong entry na ito. Long delayed ahaha!
Anyway, it's been a while since I last listened to music while working. Nung sa Sykes, the last PC I was assigned to didn't have the sound enabled. My PC at my current work doesn't have sound either (hello di ba?). Here in Cebu, the PC I have has sound... and admin rights! Bwahaha! Sayang uuwi na ako, tsk.
Downloaded a few songs off the Net, and had them playing over and over while working. Saya. Got songs from Honey and Clover (I never really got around to watching that anime, because I really don't like that girl), and am now a fan of Suga Shikau and Spitz. Hachimatsu and Hachi Gatsu no Seranade rocks! :p
Now, since its our last day and we're cleaning out our files from the PC, I'm listening to Japanese music over at Last.fm. Astig. I get to listen to bands/groups/artists that I haven't heard of before, which is really cool. Still, I tend to stick to those I like na.
Flight's tomorrow. Going back to Metro Manila. See you when I get home! :D
